Anthropic Reportedly Raising $10B at $350B Valuation

Anthropic is raising $10 billion at a $350 billion valuation, according to The Wall Street Journal. TechCrunch has independently confirmed the raise and valuation.

Coatue Management and GIC, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, are leading the round. Anthropic is expected to close the financing in the coming weeks, and the total deal amount could change.

The Claude maker last raised a $13 billion Series F at a $183 billion valuation three months ago, meaning this round nearly doubles the company's value.

This round is separate from the $15 billion that Nvidia and Microsoft recently committed to invest in Anthropic, with Microsoft planning to invest up to $5 billion and Nvidia up to $10 billion.

This could be the company's last private round before going public, as Anthropic has reportedly hired a law firm to help it list its shares later this year. The new raise comes as Anthropic prepares for a potential IPO alongside its main rival OpenAI.

Anthropic may use the capital to finance an infrastructure initiative it announced in mid-November, which includes plans to open data centers in New York, Texas, and other locations at a cost of $50 billion.

The fresh capital comes as Anthropic continues to win over developers with Claude Code, its coding automation tool powered by Claude Opus 4.5.
